Feminine
art in the Arab-Persian world is a sum of rich and complex artistic
movements that have emerged in a socio-political context marked by
patriarchal traditions and the challenges of modernity. These artists,
often facing specific challenges related to their gender and
geographical origin, use their art as a means of self-expression,
deconstructing stereotypes, and claiming their rights in conservative
societies.
