After ten years of success of Beirut Art Fair in Lebanon, Laure d’Hauteville, founder & fair director, launches Menart Fair, and appoints Joanna Chevalier as the artistic director.
Menart Fair is the international modern and contemporary art fair, dedicated to artists from the Levant, Arab-Persian Gulf & North Africa, selected by must-see galleries.
Unique in the West, Menart Fair showcases a burgeoning art scene, whose dense and strong production is now supported by many renowned museums and institutions around the world.
After the success of its last three editions (2021, 2022 in Paris, then 2023 in Brussels), Menart Fair is moving to the Palais d’Iéna, masterpiece of the architect Auguste Perret, for its 4th edition. Located in the heart of an exceptional concentration of institutions, Menart Fair will be held during the European Heritage Days and under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture.
A selection of ART + DESIGN from around thirty international galleries will be brought together for three and a half days at the Palace of Iéna, seat of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council and the third assembly of the Republic.
This palace is an ode to light. It is also one of the most beautiful Parisian settings to reveal the art of these solar regions. Extending this intention, Menart Fair’s scenography is inspired by this architecture.
