Menart Friends is a non-profit association founded in April 2024 by Sandra Prédine-Ballerie, a territorial administrator and Director of Culture and Heritage. The association was created to support and promote art, artists, history, and cultural practices from the Middle East & North Africa.
In pursuit of its mission, Menart Friends develops and supports a range of cultural initiatives, including exhibitions, artist residencies, publications, documentary projects, and public programs. Through these actions, the association seeks to foster cultural exchange between the Middle East and North Africa, France & Europe.
Menart Friends also designs mediation and engagement initiatives, such as discovery programmes for young audiences, professional encounters, conferences, and thematic symposia, contributing to greater access, understanding, and dialogue around contemporary artistic practices.
