The Menart Friends association was founded in April 2024 by Sandra Prédine-Ballerie, a territorial administrator and director of culture & heritage. Its aim is to support and promote art, artists, history, and culture from the Middle East & North Africa. In pursuit of its missions, it organizes exhibitions, artist residencies, publications, documentary films, and more. Through its activities, it fosters cultural exchanges between people from the regions involved and France, Europe, and the rest of the world. It also offers discovery weekends for young people, as well as “collector-to-collector” trips, visits to unique places, meetings with artists, both in France and abroad, as well as conferences and symposia.
